Several Airbnb properties stripped in Sheffield theft spree

Unoccupied Airbnb properties in Sheffield have become the target for burglars over the last week, Police say.

Managing to make off with around $60,000 worth of property, unknown thieves have targeted several properties in the town between June 15 and June 20.

Police believe the thieves struck the empty houses in the early hours of the morning.

Among the stolen items is two motorcycles, including a red Honda CRF150R and a green/black/white Kawasaki 140cc LKX140.

Multiple televisions and various household items have also been reported stolen.

Police would like to speak to anyone with information on the burglaries, location of the stolen property, or who saw suspicious activity in the area of Claude Road between 15 and 20 June 2023.
