Tasmanian JackJumpers win second home game of season

The Tasmanian JackJumpers have won their second consecutive home game of the season, beating the Illawarra Hawks 103 to 73.

It’s the Jackies third win of the season, beating Melbourne United 80 to 75 on October 8 and the Sydney Kings 80 to 72 on October 6.

The JackJumpers will next face off South East Melbourne Phoenix at John Cain Arena on Saturday.

Milton Doyle was the JackJumpers’ leading scorer with 19 points.

Doyle also added 9 rebounds and 5 assists. Jordon Crawford had 17 points and 6 assists, while Jack McVeigh had 15.

Gary Clark led the Hawks with 16 points in a disappointing night for the squad.

The Hawks have won just one of their opening three matches this season and have now lost 15 of their past 16 games on the road.
