Labor Leader Dean Winter has also seen a 7-percentage point increase as preferred Premier to 37%, although he still trails Rockliff, who sits at 43%.

For the first time, the poll also measured the favourability both leaders, with Rockliff and Winter recording similar ratings of +15 and +14 respectively.

Despite being the Labor leader for six months, 18% of respondents said they had not heard of Winter, while a further 8% stated that they didn’t know enough about him to give an accurate favourability measure.

The poll, conducted from November 5 to 14, surveyed 1,000 Tasmanian registered voters.
