Described by commentators as the “shot of his life”, Jack McVeigh won the game for the team with an incredible three-point throw from almost half court just one second before the final buzzer.

The winning clash has put Tasmania ahead 2-1 in the best-of-five series, positioning the team for their next match on their home court at MyState Bank Arena.
Coach Scott Roth praised the effort of his players and emphasised the need to stay focused for the upcoming game.
“We haven’t done anything yet, we’ll go back to our processes and get back after it and give it our best effort on Thursday,” he said.
