A 66-year-old Tranmere woman has been charged with common assault, over an alleged incident at a Hobart concert last weekend.
The woman allegedly smashed a glass and used it to threaten a pro-palestine protester at Deborah Conway’s Hobart concert at the Playouse Theatre on May 25.

The performance was interrupted on several occasions by pro-Palestine protesters upset by the Jewish singer’s comments on Gaza.
Conway called the woman’s actions “unhelpful to say the least”, while the activists say they will continue to protest.
The woman will appear in the Hobart Magistrates Court in August.
