10-day countdown: What to expect for Christmas day weather in Tasmania

With just 10 days to go, are you wondering how the weather will be across Tasmania on Christmas Day?

If the AccuWeather long-range forecast is anything to go by, then much of the state will be gifted a mostly sunny, perfectly fine day.

In Hobart, the temperature is expected to reach a pleasant 21°C with some wind and only a 3% chance of rain.

Launceston is predicted to get up to 23°C, with a little wind and a minimal 1% chance of rain.

On the north-west coast, the forecast indicates Devonport is in for a 19°C day with wind gusts of up to 37km/h.

Burnie is expected to be slightly cooler at 18°C, with similar windy conditions.

Queenstown and Strahan are both forecast to experience a cloudy 16°C day that will come off what is forecast to be a wet weekend.

The East Coast is likely to have a mostly sunny day with temperatures reaching 21°C.
