The Tasmanian Wine Festival is gearing up for its fifth annual celebration at the Royal Tasmanian Botanical Gardens in Hobart next February.

More than 25 Tasmanian vineyards and winemakers are set to return for the garden party on February 10 and 11, accompanied by a selection of curated food and a lineup of local entertainment.

Festival-goers will be able to ‘follow a trail’ to engage with the two dozen winemakers across the weekend for a rare insight into their wine and the winemaking process.

Festival co-ordinator Luke Schlenner says the summer wine event has been “growing year on year” and expects to announce more vineyards and food options in the coming weeks.

He says early bird tickets are available for under $20, but with limited availability.

Shelley Bickerstaff from Coal River Valley based winery Frogmore Creek, who will be curating the VIP lounge, says the festival is a ‘key attraction’ for wine lovers and foodies.

“What we love about Tas Wine Fest is coming together with other great Tasmanian vineyards, in what is the best event location in Tasmania,” she said.

“Between the beauty of the gardens, the great food on offer and Tasmania’s best wine and bubbles, there is no better place to be on this long weekend.”
