A 13-year-old has been charged with attempted murder after a stabbing incident at Harris Scarfe in Moonah on Friday afternoon.
A second youth aged 15 has been charged with aggravated armed robbery and assault arising from the same incident.
Both youths have been detained to appear before the court tomorrow.
The victim remains in hospital in a critical but stable condition with a stab wound in the abdomen.
Two teens arrested following Hobart stabbing incident
Two teenagers have been arrested in relation to a stabbing that took place at the Harris Scarfe store in Moonah this afternoon.
The incident took place at around 1:45pm on a busy weekday and left a man critically wounded after he was stabbed in the abdomen.

He was immediately rushed to the Royal Hobart Hospital where he is currently in a critical but stable condition.
Police say another person also received medical treatment for a minor injury at the scene of the incident.
The police have taken two youths into custody and are actively investigating the matter.
The identities of the teenagers have not been disclosed at this time, and the police are asking anyone with information about the incident to come forward.
Manhunt underway after two people stabbed in Moonah
A manhunt is underway for two young offenders after what is believed to be a stabbing at Harris Scarfe in Moonah this afternoon.
Two people are receiving medical treatment for what are reported to be non-life-threatening wounds.
The Westpac Rescue Helicopter has been dispatched to assist with the search.
Police have cordoned off the area around the crime scene while investigations are undertaken.
