The historic Bream Creek Show will mark its 120th anniversary today, continuing a tradition that began with the first Flower and Produce Show in May 1896.
Organisers expect more than 5,000 visitors to attend “the small country show with a big country heart”, offering affordable family entertainment with all activities included in the admission price.
Frank Finger, star of the TV show Muster Dogs, is set to be a major drawcard as this year’s VIP guest.
The Bendigo Bank World Title Tree Felling Championship will headline the woodchopping program, with fierce competition from athletes travelling from across Australia and overseas.

The show’s Hall of Industries remains the centrepiece of the day, featuring exhibits from community members of all ages.
Visitors can explore artwork, cookery displays, fresh produce, needlework, photography, quilting and school exhibitions.

The unique competitions the Bream Creek Show is known for are back, including the giant pumpkin contest, the lawn mower race and the popular “Blunnie toss”.
“From the giant pumpkin competition to the legendary lawn mower race, there’s truly something for everyone,” a committee spokesperson said.
“Make memories, share laughs and enjoy the best of what our local community has to offer.”
Gates open at 9am on Saturday. For tickets or more information, visit breamcreekshow.com.au
