It comes after a similar incident on Boyer Road near New Norfolk earlier this month, where police believe a camera was deliberately set on fire.

On Tuesday, Pulse revealed the state’s fleet of mobile speed cameras have raked in nearly $10 million of fines since they launched in 2022.

Pulse has approached Tasmania Police and State Growth for comment.
