Police are hunting for two armed offenders who allegedly broke into a home in Old Beach overnight and stole approximately $10,000 worth of Louis Vuitton items.
The incident, which investigators believe was targeted, occurred on Fouche Avenue around 1:20am on Wednesday.
Two people allegedly armed with a machete and what is believed to be a firearm forced their way into the home.
Police say the intruders had the occupant open a safe, from which they took the valuable designer goods before fleeing the scene.
Investigators believe the offenders arrived and departed in a VR or VS model Holden Commodore sedan with mag wheels.

The vehicle was later discovered completely destroyed by fire approximately 25 minutes after the robbery on Tea Tree Road in Tea Tree.
Detectives are now appealing to the public for assistance and have asked anyone with CCTV or dash cam footage to come forward.
