Emmy-nominated singer-songwriter Ben Folds has announced he is coming to Hobart in October.
He’s added three additional concerts, including Hobart on October 4 at Hobart’s Odeon Theatre, after his Australian tour sold out quickly.
American artist Lindsey Kraft will join Folds as special guest.
“On the eve of his sold-out Australian tour, Ben Folds decided there were more towns to visit and more venues to play,” organisers said.
Folds rose to fame with alternative rock band Ben Folds Five in the 1990s, scoring hits including “Brick”, “Army” and “Underground”.
His solo career has produced popular tracks like “Rockin’ the Suburbs” and “The Luckiest”.
The piano-driven performances will feature songs spanning Folds’ three-decade career, combined with personal stories from his time as a platinum-selling artist.
