Firefighters are battling a blaze that has engulfed a house in Blackmans Bay this evening.
Multiple Tasmania Fire Service crews from Kingston, Hobart and Margate are at the scene of the structure fire on Hampton Court.

Images shared to social media show a bright orange glow and thick black smoke billowing across the area.
A TFS spokesperson said the house is “burning freely” and crews are working to contain and control the blaze.
The home’s residents managed to escape without injury, while the cause of the fire has not yet been determined.
