The theatrical adaptation of the hit children’s television series will return to the state for the first time since 2022.

It will include performances at Launceston’s Albert Hall on September 29 and 30 before moving to Hobart’s Wrest Point Entertainment Centre on October 3 and 4.

The stage show features an original story by Bluey creator Joe Brumm, with new music composed by Joff Bush, who also scores the Emmy Award-winning television series.

Performances run from September 29 to October 4 in Tasmania

The plot follows Bluey and Bingo as they devise games and schemes to get Dad off his bean bag when he wants some afternoon downtime.

“Join the Heelers in their first live theatre show made just for you, featuring brilliantly created puppets,” the creators said.

The production promises to show “Bluey as you’ve never seen it before, brought to real life” through specially designed puppets that recreate the beloved characters on stage.

Tickets are now available for all performances across both venues.
