The Tasmanian motorbiking community has welcomed new free parking spaces in the city centre.
The Burnie City Council confirmed free motorcycle parking is now available on North Terrance near the surf life saving club.

The new spaces come in addition to the city’s existing free motorcycle parking in the Burnie multi-storey car park.
Meanwhile, motorcyclists are continuing to advocate for free motorbike parking to be provided in Devonport.
Both Hobart and Launceston already offer free motorbike parking options.
