Tasmania Police have seized more than six kilograms of cannabis and multiple illegal firearms after raiding two properties in the state’s north-west.
Officers carried out the searches on Tuesday at addresses in Kindred and Devonport.
Police allege they uncovered dedicated “grow rooms” along with cannabis cultivation equipment.
According to investigators, the 6.2kg cannabis haul equates to around 2,500 street deals now removed from circulation.

A 30-year-old north-west man has been arrested and charged with several offences, including trafficking cannabis and possessing unregistered firearms.
An initial search of the Kindred property turned up a shortened .22 bolt-action rifle, a shortened 12-gauge shotgun and three prohibited weapons, plus two butterfly knives and an automatic knife.

Officers also seized 12 grams of methamphetamine, 3.7kg of cannabis, multiple cannabis plants and drug paraphernalia.
Later that day, a second search at a Devonport property allegedly uncovered another 2.5kg of cannabis, more cannabis plants and meat with security tags still attached.
Tasmania Police have not yet released details about the man’s court appearance or whether more arrests are expected as part of the investigation.
