Motorists are being urged to avoid the Tasman Highway south of Little Swanport following a single-vehicle crash involving a fallen tree.
Emergency services are currently at the scene where the highway has been completely blocked just south of Seaford Road.

The incident occurred when a vehicle collided with a tree that fell across the roadway as the car approached.
No serious injuries have been reported at this stage, according to police.

TasNetworks say the fallen tree has damaged nearby power infrastructure, resulting in power outages across parts of the east coast.
Around 1,600 properties from Swansea and Dolphin Sands to Orford were initially affected, with the outage now reduced to approximately 279 properties around Little Swanport.
