A white Mitsubishi ASX has crashed into a brick fence after leaving the road on East Derwent Highway at Lindisfarne overnight.
Police and emergency services responded to the single-vehicle crash at about 11:32pm on Friday.
The vehicle left the road before smashing into the brick fence at the front of a private residence.
No residents of the home were injured in the crash.
Ambulance Tasmania assessed a passenger at the scene, who is now helping police with their enquiries.
Police say two other occupants fled the scene after the crash. One is now assisting police with their investigation.
Police are appealing for witnesses who saw the crash or have CCTV or dashcam footage to come forward.
