The incident has created a domino effect across the city’s road network during the busy morning commute.
A second crash at Geilston Bay reportedly added to the congestion.

The delays have forced some commuters onto alternative routes, creating heavier than usual traffic on the Brooker Highway and other key arterials.
Drivers are being urged to take care on the wet roads this morning, with around 9mm of rain falling around Hobart in the nine hours to 9am.
