Tasmania Police have clamped two cars “indefinitely” after arresting drivers for dangerous behaviour on the state’s roads.

A 24-year-old Geeveston man was arrested last Sunday after allegedly driving dangerously on the Huon Highway at Dover.

Officers seized his gold Nissan X-Trail and found multiple offences, including driving while disqualified, using an unregistered and uninsured vehicle and breaching bail.

In a separate incident on Thursday morning, a 22-year-old Huonville man had his silver Ford Falcon clamped after allegedly hooning in Hobart at 7:30am.

He will face charges for hooning offences.

“If you drive dangerously on our roads, you risk having your vehicle clamped or far worse,” police warned.

“Please do the right thing every time you travel on our roads to help us keep everyone safe.”
