Australian comedian Jimmy Rees, known for his appearances on the popular children’s television show Giggle and Hoot, has released a new video poking fun at Tasmania.
The video, titled “They won’t let me into Tasmania”, sees Rees playfully quiz a ‘mainlander’ on all things Tasmanian.

The clip consists of Rees pretending to try to enter Tasmania while being stopped by locals who believe he is actually trying to get to New Zealand.
The video is full of jokes about Tasmania’s reputation for having ‘low average incomes’ with the highest rental prices, minimal pollution, as well as its love-hate relationship with the cool, crisp, fresh air.
