The historic Margate Train has been left with a hefty clean-up bill after it was targeted by vandals overnight.

Two carriages of the popular tourist attraction were spray-painted with graffiti around midnight on Tuesday morning, covering parts of the windows.

A staff member told Pulse the incident will “cost so much money to clean up”.

“It wasn’t just one carriage, it was two carriages. And there’s a lot of locals down here that are pretty upset behind it,” they said.
