Contractors called in to fix fire-damaged Gordon Jetty

Repair work will get underway on a popular jetty in Tasmania’s south after it was damaged by fire over the weekend.

The cause of the fire that destroyed much of the Gordon Jetty is still undetermined and is currently being investigated by the Tasmania Fire Service.

The jetty will remain closed until further notice.

Marine and Safety Tasmania (MAST) has issued a warning to boaties to beware of floating debris from the jetty.
