First it was Neil the Seal in Dunalley, now Dennis the Menace has arrived in Triabunna.
Residents of the town on Tasmania’s East Coast say Fur Seal ‘Dennis’ rocked up on Wednesday afternoon, quickly making himself at home.
“Half of Triabunna was in a buzz, it was great and very entertaining,” resident Mards told Pulse.
“Definitely not something you see in our seaside little town.”

It’s understood Dennis ventured off towards the water this morning after hopping between houses overnight.
A Parks & Wildlife Marine Conservation Program spokesperson told Pulse they are aware of the coastal visitor.
“MCP biologists assessed the seal’s condition and guided it back to the water on Thursday morning.”
Anyone who encounters an entangled or injured seal is urged to report it to the Marine Mammal hotline at 0427 WHALES (0427 942 537).
Last week, 600kg Elephant Seal ‘Neil’ went viral after taking residence at Dunalley, 50 minutes south of Triabunna.
