A dramatic single-vehicle crash saw a car plough through multiple property fences in North Hobart on Saturday evening, prompting a police investigation.
The incident occurred around 6:20pm on Saturday, when a white Holden Commodore left the Brooker Highway and crashed through fences belonging to two properties.
Police have confirmed the vehicle was driven by a man in his fifties who reportedly lost control before colliding with fences, trees and a parked car.
Despite the extensive property damage, no serious injuries were reported in the crash.
State Emergency Service crews remained at the scene following the incident to assist with cleanup operations and manage traffic in the area.

The cause of the crash remains under investigation, with police working to determine how the vehicle came to leave the road.
Authorities are now calling for public assistance to piece together the circumstances surrounding the incident.
“Any witnesses, anyone with dash-cam footage or members of the public who may have information about the incident are asked to contact police on 131 444,” a police spokesperson said.
