A young man in his 20s has died following a serious crash in Tasmania’s far north-west overnight.
Emergency services were called to West Montagu Road at Woolnorth around 4:40am on Friday after reports a vehicle had crashed.

The man, from Circular Head, was the only person in the car. Police said he died at the scene.
Investigators are continuing to piece together the circumstances that led to the crash and say the road will remain closed for several more hours.
“Our thoughts are with the man’s family and loved ones,” police said.
A report will be prepared for the coroner.
