Police are investigating a crash that saw a white Mitsubishi Outlander flip on the East Tamar Highway on Tuesday afternoon.
Emergency services rushed to the Bell Bay roundabout about 5:20pm yesterday after reports the vehicle had rolled.
No one was seriously injured in the crash, police said.
However, officers believe the driver may have been operating the vehicle “in a dangerous manner” in the lead-up to the incident.
Police are now calling for witnesses who saw the vehicle allegedly being driven recklessly on the highway around 5pm, particularly near the Windermere turnoff.
“Police are calling for any witnesses to the crash or drivers who may have dash cam footage of the incident to come forward and contact George Town police on 6702 3900 or 131 444,” police said.
“Information can also be provided anonymously to Crime Stoppers.”
The investigation into the circumstances surrounding the crash remains ongoing.
