Police are continuing a ‘planned operation’ today after executing a search at Deano’s Hilux Distributors in Northern Tasmania yesterday.
The search was part of a broader Spreyton investigation that utilised a number of specialist resources, according to Inspector Kim Steven.
During the search, police seized a ‘significant amount of drugs and stolen property’ and arrested a 41-year-old man who remains in police custody.
The man is expected to be interviewed by police later today in relation to several offences, including an aggravated assault and drug-related charges.

No charges have been laid at this stage.
As part of the ongoing investigation, police are conducting a search at a separate property today.
“Police are committed to targeting crime in our community and charging offenders,” said Inspector Steven.
No further details have been released at this time, but police have indicated that more information will be provided when appropriate.
