Sergeant Andrew Sulman said the woman was arrested and later released on bail.

He said the three hour traffic operation also caught a P-plater driving with alcohol in their system and three drivers who returned positive illicit drug readings.

“Driving with alcohol or drugs in your body increases your risk of being involved in a serious crash,” Sulman said.

“We will continue to proactively patrol our roads to ensure everyone is doing the right thing.”

“Road safety is a community responsibility.”
