Family tickets purchased before October 12 are available for $37, compared to the $50 gate price, a 26% saving for early purchasers.

Mitchell Spong, GM Operations at the Showground, said the Royal Agricultural Society of Tasmania “always strives to provide exceptional value for the show.”

“Under five children get free entry, and once you’re in the gates, you don’t need to spend another cent if you’re on a budget.”

The ticket price includes all entertainment and activities, with visitors welcome to bring their own food, though various food options will be available for purchase at the show.

The nearby Goods Shed will host arts exhibitions, while the Tasmanian Equestrian Centre at Lauderdale will feature the equestrian program.

Beef and dairy cattle judging will take place at the Hobart Showground, away from ongoing redevelopment works.
