Early bird tickets are now on sale for the 2025 Royal Hobart Show, with organisers promising significant savings for families planning to attend the October event.
The three-day show will run from October 23-25, returning to the Hobart Regatta Grounds as its central hub with additional activities at nearby venues.
Family tickets purchased before October 12 are available for $37, compared to the $50 gate price, a 26% saving for early purchasers.
Mitchell Spong, GM Operations at the Showground, said the Royal Agricultural Society of Tasmania “always strives to provide exceptional value for the show.”

“Under five children get free entry, and once you’re in the gates, you don’t need to spend another cent if you’re on a budget.”
The ticket price includes all entertainment and activities, with visitors welcome to bring their own food, though various food options will be available for purchase at the show.

The nearby Goods Shed will host arts exhibitions, while the Tasmanian Equestrian Centre at Lauderdale will feature the equestrian program.
Beef and dairy cattle judging will take place at the Hobart Showground, away from ongoing redevelopment works.
Organisers have teased an “extensive entertainment schedule” including a performance by what they describe as a “children’s global household name”.
Early bird tickets can be purchased through the RAST website with discounted adult tickets at $14 and child tickets at $7.

The early bird ticket offer will remain available until October 12.
