Two lucky Tasmanians have scored division one prizes in the Easter weekend TattsLotto draw, with each winner pocketing more than $250,000.

While a Beauty Point mother has already begun celebrating her windfall, lottery officials are urgently searching for the second winner who may be completely unaware of their good fortune.

The Tasmanian players were among 20 division one winners in TattsLotto draw 4565 on Saturday 19 April, with each receiving $255,096.86.

The Beauty Point mother described the win as life-changing after discovering her luck on Easter Sunday.

“I’m still in a little bit of shock,” she told officials from The Lott.

“I’ve been playing these numbers for years and years. They’re just random numbers.”

“Yesterday morning, I checked my ticket, but I had to get my family to verify it. I thought I was seeing things. I think I checked the ticket about three times.”

The woman, who purchased her winning 12-game entry from Beaconsfield Newsagency on Weld Street, plans to use her winnings as a nest egg for the future.

“I’m just an ordinary person, and this just gives me extra security,” she said.

Meanwhile, the second winning ticket, purchased at Kings Meadows News & Lotto in Launceston, remains unclaimed as the entry was not registered.

The Lott spokesperson Matt Hart urged people to check their tickets as soon as possible.

“Someone is most likely walking around completely oblivious to the fact they won a division one prize in the weekend’s TattsLotto draw,” Hart said.

The winning numbers in the draw were 28, 10, 44, 21, 19 and 14, with supplementary numbers 33 and 23.
