An elderly man in his 80s has died during a crash at a supermarket in Launceston’s north this afternoon.
Emergency services were called to the Woolworths Legana carpark shortly before 1pm on Monday.

Police said a vehicle, understood to have been driven by the man, had crashed into a parked car and a person was receiving medical treatment at the scene.
“At this stage it is believed the crash was the result of a medical episode,” a spokesperson said.
“Our thoughts and condolences are with the family and loved ones of the man.”
Police said no one else was injured in the crash.
