A 100-year-old church hall has been completely destroyed by a blaze that raged out of control on Saturday night.
Firefighters were called to St Andrew’s Church on High Street in Evandale around 6pm where they found the historic hall completely engulfed in flames.

The building’s roof collapsed during the inferno, which the Tasmania Fire Service say took around four to five large tankers to bring under control.
Fire investigators have determined that the blaze was accidental and caused by an electrical fault in the building’s wiring.
No estimate of the cost of the damage has yet been made public.
