Tasmania’s largest multi-day camping music festival, Party In The Paddock, has unveiled one of its “biggest lineups in history” for 2025.
The festival will take place at Quercus Park at Carrick from February 6th to 9th.
The lineup is led by headliners Empire Of The Sun, AURORA and a mysterious British ‘secret headliner’.
Other acts on the bill include Amyl & The Sniffers, Role Model, Angie McMahon, Still Woozy, Thelma Plum, King Stingray, Slowly Slowly, Allday, Medium Build, KiNG MALA, Teen Jesus & The Jean Teasers and Boo Seeka.
“It’s not the first time PITP has rocked the ‘SECRET HEADLINER’ or ‘SECRET ACT’, curating mass hype around these special sets is all a part of the foreplay in the great rollout of the PITP ‘25 campaign,” organisers say.
“But what can we expect here? Let’s look back at 2023 when the festival first pulled the stunt with a joint reveal of VENGABOYS and the DMA’S and then again last year where PITP kept the ‘secret’ right up until the act walked out on stage – when THE VERONICAS stole the show!”
Fans are speculating the secret headliner may be English singer Charli XCX, who has risen to viral fame in recent months with the release of her latest album ‘brat’.
The speculation comes after Laneway Festival, which is taking place in Melbourne and Sydney on the same weekend as the 3-day Party In The Paddock festival, announced Charli XCX would be their headline act in 2025.
“Any hints for this year..? Hmmm, we’ll see,” said a Party In The Paddock spokesperson.
The festival also features a range of local and international acts across six stages, including Vibestown Arena, The Bigtop Dance Tent, Silvertongue Stage, The Bullpen and Little Island Rising.
“With the beloved Vibestown Arena, The Bigtop Dance Tent, Silvertongue Stage, The Bullpen and PITP’s newest stage Little Island Rising – PITP has all six stages in full swing,” organisers say.
“Whether you’re in for the entire four-day, four-night experience or just a weekend, PITP 2025 guarantees an unforgettable festival with a jam-packed FIRST lineup of the year’s most exciting acts.”
