A fire that tore through a Blackmans Bay garage, destroying several vehicles and damaging a home, has been deemed accidental by fire investigators.

The fire also caused significant damage to the home, leaving the family with nothing.

Investigators have since determined that the fire was accidental and likely caused by faulty wiring related to one of the vehicles.

Friends of the family have rallied together to support them in the aftermath of the fire, describing the parents as “not the sort of people to ask for help”.
