Icehouse, Vanessa Amorosi and Bachelor Girl are some of the big names among dozens of performers playing to the record crowd at this year’s Festivale event.
Organisers say the annual Launceston food celebration attracted over 9,000 people to City Park on Friday and Saturday morning.
With over 10,000 tickets sold for Saturday, attendance numbers have surged back to pre-COVID levels.
The three-day festival offers an array of food, beer, wine and spirits from 70 vendors hailing from all corners of the state, complemented by live music performances.

The final day of the festival will showcase performances by Diesel and former MasterChef judge Matt Moran, along with a range of children’s entertainment, activities, buskers and book signings.
A total of 30,000 people are expected at the event over the course of the weekend.
