Firefighters called to bushfire burning in hills above Clarendon Vale

Firefighters are battling a bushfire that has broken out in the Clarendon Vale area tonight.

Tasmania Fire Service crews were called to the blaze near Diana Circle just before 9:30pm on Friday.

Large flames have been reported by several locals on the eastern shore, with winds also pushing the smell of smoke south to Kingston.
