Four more people have been charged over a “significant disturbance” in Hobart’s northern suburbs earlier this month, with police warning more arrests are expected.
The incident in Bridgewater and Gagebrook on April 13 was allegedly instigated by New South Wales man ‘Spanian’.
Hundreds gathered in the streets to reportedly meet the 38-year-old, with police charging the YouTuber with instigating the commission of a simple offence the morning after.
At the time, authorities said multiple police vehicles were damaged and officers reportedly assaulted by people at the gathering.
Following investigations since the incident, a 24-year-old woman, two 20-year-old men and a 15-year-old have been charged with hooning, public-order and damage to property offences.
Police say two motorbikes and a vehicle have also been seized and warned that further arrests were likely in the coming weeks.
