TasTAFE’s chief executive Grant Dreher has resigned to pursue a new opportunity interstate.
Dreher has been appointed CEO of the William Angliss Institute in Victoria, Australia’s leading specialist centre for food, tourism, hospitality and events education and training.
His appointment was published on the William Angliss website more than a week ago.
Dreher’s final day at TasTAFE will be April 25.
Skills and Training Minister Felix Ellis said Dreher has been “instrumental” in leading the organisation and its transition.
“We thank him for all of his amazing work on leading the TAFE journey,” Ellis said.
“We finish up on great terms and he’s been really instrumental in leading the work that we’ve had with the transition from TasTAFE.”
Dreher has been with TasTAFE since February 2021.
