Police have recovered a stash of weapons stolen during an alleged armed robbery at a rural Tasmanian property last week.
The firearms were allegedly taken from a home in Upper Natone in the state’s north-west on Friday.
The incident triggered a large police search and a warning for locals to avoid several men reportedly dressed in dark clothing.
Two men, aged 28 and 38, have since been charged with aggravated armed robbery, aggravated burglary and stealing a motor vehicle.

Police allege the pair threatened a resident before making off with several guns and a vehicle from the property on August 15.
A police operation across Burnie and Penguin earlier this week led to the arrests and the recovery of all stolen weapons, along with other unrelated firearms and ammunition.

The 28-year-old Smithton man faced an out-of-hours court hearing and was remanded in custody to appear again next week.
His co-accused is set to face court next Wednesday.
A third man, 28, from Burnie, was charged with receiving stolen property and granted bail to appear in November.
Tasmania Police thanked the community for their “patience and assistance” as investigations continue.
