A free market selling pre-loved craft supplies will return to North Hobart later this month as the Autumn Crafty DeStash Market is held on March 22.
The free event will run from 10am to 2pm at the Old Warehouse on Smith Street in North Hobart.
Bombed Yarns founder Sarah O’Halloran said the market celebrates creativity and sustainability by giving craft supplies new homes.
“We love seeing craft supplies find new homes and hearing about the projects their new owners are inspired to create,” she said.

The indoor market will feature stallholders selling yarn, knitting needles, crochet hooks, fabric, paintbrushes and other pre-loved crafting materials.
Communal crafting tables will allow visitors to work on projects using their newly discovered treasures.

O’Halloran said the concept of “de-stashing” turns one person’s unused supplies into another’s inspiration.
“The DeStash Market is about celebrating creativity, community and sustainability,” she said.
This marks the second DeStash Market organised by the local hand-dyed yarn business, following a successful debut in last year that drew hundreds.
O’Halloran runs Bombed Yarns from her North Hobart studio, where she hand-dyes small-batch yarns and hosts craft workshops.
Updates and stall information can be found on the Bombed Yarns website and Facebook page.
