Police have seized two firearms and a raft of illicit substances from a home in Hobart’s northern suburbs.
Investigators from the Southern Drugs and Firearms Unit descended on the Goodwood property on Wednesday to undertake the “targeted search”.

Police allege the 45-year-old man was found with various drugs, a loaded shortened single-barrel firearm and a small pistol.
Detective Acting Inspector Felicity Boyd said the man was held in custody to appear in court.
“This search is evidence of our continued commitment to community safety and holding offenders to account,” she said.
