Hobart’s Blundstone Arena to be renamed NINJA Stadium

The home of Tasmanian cricket is getting a new name, with Blundstone Arena to be rebranded as NINJA Stadium.

Cricket Tasmania has announced a four-year deal with SharkNinja, a global kitchen and home appliances company, to rename the Bellerive Oval ground.

The agreement includes an option for a fifth year.

Cricket Tasmania CEO Dominic Baker said NINJA Stadium will be ‘the Home of Female Sports’ in Tasmania.

“We are aligned in our love, ambition and passion for women’s sport and through this partnership we will continue to see female sport in our state flourish,” he said.

“SharkNinja will also join our Hurricanes WBBL and BBL playing kit, along with their commitment to our stadia.”
