Disappointing news for Shiploads fans this morning, with the chain announcing they will be closing down a much-loved store before the end of the year.
The Sandy Bay Shiploads store will be shutting its doors for the final time on Christmas Eve this year, after the property owner announced it will be redeveloping the site.

It is understood staff affected by the closure will be offered positions in other Shiploads stores in the Greater Hobart area.
