Injuries reported after Metro bus hits two pedestrians in Hobart CBD

Two pedestrians have reportedly been taken to hospital following crash involving a Metro bus in Hobart.

The bus collided with the pair at the intersection of Collins and Campbell streets around 10pm on Saturday.

Tasmania Police said officers are managing traffic at the intersection while the scene is cleared.

“Injuries to the people involved are reportedly not life threatening,” a spokesperson said.

“Members of the public are asked to avoid the area if possible.”
