The main road through Beaconsfield in Tasmania’s north has been shut following a serious crash this evening.
Weld Street is currently blocked near Middle Arm Park south of the town, with police and firefighters at the scene.

Authorities have advised motorists to avoid the area or expect delays until the scene is cleared.
“Traffic diversions are in place,” police said.
“Injures have been reported.”
