A man from Howrah is facing charges after he allegedly drove his vehicle through a fence and at two people standing on their front lawn.
The 36-year-old is accused of blasting through the fence on Tollard Drive in Rokeby prior to 6:30pm on Wednesday.

Police said the pair on the lawn “were forced to jump out of the way of the vehicle” to avoid being hit.
“It is also alleged that the man stabbed one of the occupants in the arm when he attempted to gain entry to the vehicle,” a spokesperson said.
The man was detained by the occupants until officers arrived a short time later.
He has since been charged with wounding and assault and will appear in the Hobart Magistrates Court on Thursday.
