Hobartians will soon have their first opportunity to experience global Japanese fashion retailer UNIQLO’s popular clothing lines without leaving Tasmania.

The brand is launching a week-long e-commerce pop-up at Eastlands Shopping Centre from 11 May to 18 May, bringing its signature LifeWear collection directly to Tasmanian shoppers.

This temporary installation will allow locals to physically interact with UNIQLO’s innovative clothing technologies including PUFFTECH, HEATTECH and Cashmere items before making purchases through the company’s app or website.

The pop-up is the first physical presence for the brand in Tasmania, with the nearest permanent UNIQLO stores currently located on the mainland.

Visitors to the pop-up will benefit from exclusive promotions during the event. On the opening day, customers who spend $75 or more online between 9-10 May can redeem a free Round Ultra Mini Bag while supplies last.

UNIQLO are yet to announce any plans for a permanent Tasmanian store.
