A suspected gas leak has shut multiple Kingston fast food outlets tonight as emergency services work to secure the scene.
KFC Westside Circle is currently closed due to the “hazardous material incident”, with Hungry Jacks and McDonalds also impacted.

The Tasmania Fire Service ask people to “avoid the area” as “exposure to this material may present a danger”.
They say while there is “no risk” to the general public at this time, people in the immediate area should stay indoors, close all doors, windows and vents and turn off air conditioners.
