Police are investigating reports of a disturbance outside McDonald’s in the Hobart city centre overnight.
Officers responded to the disturbance off Argyle Street around 12:20am this morning after receiving emergency calls from concerned witnesses.
In footage captured at the scene, an eye witnesses could be heard describing the incident to a triple zero call taker.
“There’s about three guys and there’s knives involved and they’re like, trying to stab someone,” they said.
“Someone just got stabbed,” they claimed.

Speaking to Pulse, a Tasmania Police spokesperson said the disturbance involved three men, however no injuries had been reported.
Police are now appealing for any information from the public that might assist with their investigation into the incident.
